Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered competitive Esper build operating primarily as a fast combo shell with a resilient reanimator secondary axis. Commanded by Hashaton, Scarab's Fist, the deck leverages its low-cost commander to turn discarded creatures into 4/4 token copies, complementing reanimation targets like Razaketh, the Foulblooded, Valgavoth, Terror Eater, and Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur. However, its primary clock is the format-defining pairing of Thassa's Oracle with Demonic Consultation or Tainted Pact, capable of closing games as early as Turn 2 or 3. Backed by the strongest fast mana in the format, universal tutors, asymmetric hate pieces such as Drannith Magistrate and Opposition Agent, and elite stack protection via Silence and free counterspells, the deck excels at seizing fast win windows while holding deep reactive answers to disrupt faster or parallel strategies.
