Deck overview

This mono-red deck is commanded by Avatar Roku, Firebender, a 6/6 Avatar that adds six red mana whenever any player attacks and can spend three red mana to grant a creature +3/+0 until end of turn. The deck's strategy leverages goad pieces like Disrupt Decorum, Bloodthirsty Blade, and Alexios, Deimos of Kosmos to force opponents to attack each other, triggering Roku on every combat phase. This floods the game with combat-restricted red mana to pump opposing attackers into one another or power up Roku into a lethal two-hit commander damage threat. While the deck generates massive bursts of temporary mana during combat, it relies heavily on basic lands and natural draw steps, making it vulnerable to removal and board wipes.
