Deck overview

This Naya "lands-matter" combo deck is helmed by Toph, the First Metalbender, who turns every nontoken artifact into a land and then earthbends two lands into hasty creatures at end step. The primary game plan is to exploit that artifact-lands rule to assemble an infinite-mana engine - Grim Monolith + Candelabra of Tawnos + Deserted Temple - and convert it into a table kill with Staff of Domination and Walking Ballista. A robust combat backup runs through the other Tophs in the 99: Toph, Greatest Earthbender grants double strike, Bumi, Unleashed adds extra combats, and Badgermole grants trample, while Annie Joins Up and Roaming Throne double every legendary trigger. The deck is a hybrid of a fast, tutor-heavy combo deck and a land-creature aggro deck that can pivot between the two.
