Deck overview

Wick, the Whorled Mind is a Grixis rat-tribal commander that turns every Rat entry into a growing Snail and then uses the Snail as a fireball-plus-draw spell. The deck's primary plan is to build a massive Snail, sacrifice it for damage and cards, then rebuild with token generators and repeat until opponents are dead. Secondary paths include wide rat combat with Karumonix's toxic, token-drain via Impact Tremors and Mirkwood Bats, and combo-ish bursts with Marrow-Gnawer, Conspiracy, and Roaming Throne. There is no hidden commander; Wick is the engine and the finisher. The deck is slow and value-oriented, winning by attrition and burst turns rather than a fast compact combo.
