Deck overview

This Izzet artifact deck, helmed by Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain, is a classic storm-through-artifacts value engine. The core loop is casting cheap artifact after artifact, converting each historic spell into a card via Jhoira's draw trigger while cost reducers like Etherium Sculptor, Foundry Inspector, and Enthusiastic Mechanaut keep the chain self-sustaining. The board develops through thopter token engines - Sai, Master Thopterist, Efficient Construction, and Thopter Spy Network - which then become lethal through Rise and Shine or March of Progress overloads, or are consolidated into an army of Myr Battlesphere clones by Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer. The alternate win is Mechanized Production, which copies a key artifact each upkeep until eight same-named artifacts trigger a direct victory. There are no true infinite combos here; the deck wins through raw card advantage, artifact recursion via Emry, Lurker of the Loch and Scrap Trawler, and a wide token board. It plays a patient, grindy midrange game that snowballs once Jhoira sticks.
