Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black reanimator and big mana strategy led by The Master of Lake-town. The primary game plan focuses on rapidly putting devastating high-mana creatures like Archon of Cruelty and Vilis, Broker of Blood into the graveyard with Entomb, Buried Alive, or Unmarked Grave, then returning them to the battlefield ahead of curve using cheap reanimation spells such as Reanimate and Animate Dead. The commander turns life loss into continuous mill, stocking graveyards with high-value targets across the table for spells like Breach the Multiverse and Sepulchral Primordial. A robust mana base with Cabal Coffers, Crypt Ghast, and Nirkana Revenant generates massive mana reserves to close out games using Exsanguinate, Gray Merchant of Asphodel, or overwhelming combat damage. With strong interactive removal like Deadly Rollick and Toxic Deluge, alongside graveyard disruption from Leyline of the Void, the deck controls opposing boards while executing a resilient graveyard-centric path to victory.
