Deck overview

This Sultai list is a landfall-mill deck helmed by Homer, the Hermit, a three-mana 0/9 that turns every land drop into a table-wide mill equal to twice your count of Crabs, Lobsters, Nautiluses, Starfish, and Trilobites. The ninety-nine backs that trigger with classic mill crabs (Hedron Crab, Ruin Crab), extra land drops (Exploration, Burgeoning), and land recursion (Crucible of Worlds, Splendid Reclamation, Harrow) so a single turn can chain many landfall triggers. Changelings and Crab tokens inflate Homer's X, while flashback spells and graveyard recursion convert the cards you mill yourself into extra resources. The backup kill is Jaws of Defeat, which turns the tribe's high toughness and low power into life loss on every ETB - Charix, the Raging Isle alone is a 17-point drain. There are no infinite combos; the deck wins by emptying libraries or draining the table after a critical mass of lands and crab-types is in play.
