Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Jeskai Human tribal strategy commanded by Éowyn, Shieldmaiden. Its primary game plan revolves around deploying low-cost Human creatures and token generators to reliably trigger Éowyn's combat ability, creating two 2/2 red Human Knight tokens with trample and haste each combat while drawing extra cards when controlling six or more Humans. The deck leverages the Monarch mechanic through cards like Aragorn, King of Gondor, Palace Jailer, and Forth Eorlingas! to maintain steady card flow and enable unblockable attacks. Decisive wins occur on Turns 6 to 7 by converting broad creature boards into lethal combat swings using powerful multipliers such as Shared Animosity, Taunt from the Rampart, Erkenbrand, Lord of Westfold, and Théoden, King of Rohan. While the deck possesses explosive combat speed and solid indestructible protection, its reliance on the combat step and lack of cheap counterspells leave it vulnerable to fast combo decks and exile-based board wipes.
