Deck overview

Witherbloom, the Balancer leads a Golgari go-wide swarm that turns creature count into both mana and discounts. The deck steadily builds Saprolings, Faeries, Insects and Zombies from Bitterblossom, Tendershoot Dryad, Scute Swarm and Field of the Dead, then uses Cryptolith Rite and Circle of Dreams Druid to tap that board for mana. Witherbloom has affinity for creatures itself and gives all your instants and sorceries affinity for creatures, so Torment of Hailfire, Exsanguinate, Gelatinous Genesis and other X-spells scale quickly. Craterhoof Behemoth and Finale of Devastation close games, with two infinite loops as backup when combat stalls.
