Deck overview

Shay Cormac is a mono-faced commander; the deck has no hidden or double-faced commander in the command zone. This Orzhov list is a low-curve artifact-combo deck: it tutors out Foundry Inspector, Together Forever, Walking Ballista, and Ashnod's Altar or Krark-Clan Ironworks to create a loop that pings all opponents to death. Secondary plans are artifact aristocrat drains and a bounty-counter removal/beatdown route, where Shay's activated ability removes protection and his bounty triggers grow him. The deck does not depend on its commander to win; Shay is an enabler who lets targeted removal connect, while the artifact engine and tutors provide the real finishing line.
