Hazel - swarm of squirrels ! by user1984758

Format: Commander

Commander: Hazel of the Rootbloom

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Golgari Squirrel deck turns tokens into mana and mana into a decisive board. Hazel of the Rootbloom is a one-card mana battery plus an end-step token doubler, and any Squirrel token she copies becomes two Squirrels. The primary plan is to flood the board with Squirrel and Changeling tokens, then convert them through Hazel, Earthcraft, or Cryptolith Rite into huge X spells or a Craterhoof/Finale attack. The fastest deterministic line is Earthcraft plus Squirrel Nest on a basic Forest; this generates unbounded Squirrel tokens, and Hazel turns those tokens into unbounded mana for Torment of Hailfire or Exsanguinate. The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl and Roaming Throne supply burst size, while Craterhoof/Finale provide the overrun secondary path. No hidden commander exists; The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl is the central payoff.
