Deck overview

Slimefoot, the Stowaway leads a Golgari saproling engine that turns token death into unavoidable life-drain. The primary plan is to create several Saprolings each turn, sacrifice them to Viscera Seer, Ashnod's Altar, or Deathspore Thallid, and convert each death into multiple drain triggers from Dina, Zulaport Cutthroat, Poison-Tip Archer, and Mirkwood Bats. A secondary path equips Phyresis so Slimefoot's noncombat damage applies poison counters, letting ten Saproling deaths end the game. Syr Konrad and Cauldron of Essence provide resilient backup damage and recursion. Slimefoot is both the repeatable token generator and a core payoff, but the deck also functions through its many alternate drainers if the commander is removed.
