Deck overview

This Golgari Elfball deck harnesses Lathril, Blade of the Elves to execute a fast, go-wide tribal strategy. The early game focuses on deploying efficient mana dorks like Priest of Titania and Llanowar Elves to accelerate mana and cast Lathril ahead of schedule. Connecting with Lathril in combat quickly multiplies your Elf count, providing fuel for massive mana bursts via Gaea's Cradle and Elvish Archdruid. Continuous card flow from Beast Whisperer and Leaf-Crowned Visionary refills the hand as you flood the battlefield. The deck transitions into a lethal threat around Turn 5 by chaining overrun effects such as Ezuri, Renegade Leader and End-Raze Forerunners, or by draining opponents directly with Shaman of the Pack and Lathril's activated ability. While susceptible to mass creature removal, strong recursive pieces and high redundancy ensure rapid recovery.
