I HAVE A BOMB by user1980828

Format: Commander

Commander: Piru, the Volatile

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Mardu group-slug deck helmed by Piru, the Volatile that wins by taxing every normal game action-lands, spells, draws, and activations-then amplifying that damage with a dense suite of doublers and end-step finishers. The 99 is packed with classic punishers (Manabarbs, Spellshock, Underworld Dreams, Zo-Zu the Punisher, Ankh of Mishra) supported by multipliers (Gisela, Blade of Goldnight, Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, Wound Reflection, Dictate of the Twin Gods, Torbran, Thane of Red Fell). Primary wins come from accumulated noncombat damage, Heartless Hidetsugu activations under doublers, and the Bloodchief Ascension + Mindcrank loop. Piru, the Volatile itself is a mid-to-late-game 7/7 lifelink flyer whose death trigger sweeps nonlegendary creatures; it is not required for the plan. The deck plays as relentless table-wide pressure that turns the opponents' own resources against them.
