Namor 2.0 by baum202

Format: Commander

Commander: Namor the Sub-Mariner

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

A mono-blue Merfolk tempo deck built around Namor, the Sub-Mariner: cast cheap noncreature blue spells to flood the board with 1/1 Merfolk tokens, which simultaneously pump Namor's power and set up lord-backed alpha strikes. Bident of Thassa and Enduring Curiosity convert every connection into extra cards, while counterspells and instant bounce keep the board clear. Talrand, Sky Summoner and Eluge, the Shoreless Sea serve as strong secondary engines if Namor is absent. There is no hidden commander; the win is a combat kill through islandwalk, unblockable effects, or simply overwhelming token count after a few draw-spell chains. Late game, Hullbreaker Horror provides a flash lock and Cyclonic Rift resets opponents' boards.
