Deck overview

This Mono-Green Poison Aggro deck uses Fynn, the Fangbearer to turn cheap deathtouch creatures into lethal poison threats. By casting a 1-drop deathtouch creature on Turn 1 and Fynn on Turn 2, the deck immediately begins dealing combat damage that applies 2 poison counters per hit. The deck backs up this core plan with a dense suite of more than twenty 1- and 2-drop deathtouch and toxic creatures, allowing it to consistently curve out and pressure open opponents early. Proliferate engines like Bloated Contaminator and Evolution Sage accelerate poison accumulation table-wide without needing every creature to connect in combat. Instant-speed bite spells like Infectious Bite and Band Together take advantage of deathtouch to remove opposing blockers efficiently, while Viridian Longbow turns any deathtoucher into a repeatable creature sniper. While the deck applies fast individual pressure, its reliance on combat damage leaves it vulnerable to sweepers, token walls, and targeted removal against Fynn.
