Deck overview

This Selesnya Dinosaurs deck, helmed by Ghalta and Mavren, is a combat-focused midrange strategy that blends two distinct token-generation modes with a dense package of high-power Dinosaurs and populate effects. The commander's attack trigger offers flexible game-ending pressure: either create an X/X Dinosaur token scaled to your largest attacker for a single overwhelming body, or swarm the board with X 1/1 lifelink Vampires proportional to your attacking creature count. The 99 leans into Dinosaur tribal synergies with cost reducers like Kinjalli's Caller and Knight of the Stampede, alongside anthem effects, populate spells such as Rootborn Defenses and Trostani, Selesnya's Voice, and card advantage engines like Garruk's Uprising and Elemental Bond. The primary win condition is an overwhelming combat step supported by token multiplication, but the deck lacks fast combos, counterspells, or dedicated tutors-it wins through inevitability and board presence rather than assembly.
