Deck overview

This is a BUG Elf tribal midrange-combo deck helmed by Thranduil, the Elvenking. The plan floods the board with efficient Elf dorks, lords, and token makers, then leverages Thranduil as both a legendary-Elf draw engine and a graveyard-activated-ability sponge (gaining taps from Priest of Titania, overruns from Ezuri, Renegade Leader, drains from Lathril, Blade of the Elves, and more). Primary wins come from classic Elfball payoffs-Craterhoof Behemoth, Finale of Devastation, and Ezuri, Renegade Leader overruns-backed by Lathril, Blade of the Elves's tap outlet and Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord drains. Tutors and pod engines (Fauna Shaman, Prime Speaker Vannifar, Buried Alive) assemble the pieces while the dense mana base of dorks and lands accelerates into a wide, lord-pumped board by the mid-game.
