Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius group-hug combo-control strategy commanded by Kwain, Itinerant Meddler. It uses early symmetric card draw to accelerate game tempo while breaking parity through cards like Smothering Tithe, Consecrated Sphinx, and Faerie Mastermind. Light stax and tax pieces like Grand Arbiter Augustin IV, Overburden, and Ghostly Prison slow down opposing creature strategies and preserve your life total. The deck converts its high card volume into a definitive same-turn win around Turn 5 using infinite draw loops such as Mind Over Matter paired with Temple Bell or Kwain, or Isochron Scepter imprinting Dramatic Reversal. Preemptive protection like Grand Abolisher, Teferi, Time Raveler, and Silence ensures combo lines resolve without interference.
