Deck overview

This Esper control deck leverages Tivit, Seller of Secrets as an explosive resource engine and commander damage threat. Early turns prioritize dense artifact ramp and card filtering to resolve Tivit ahead of curve on Turn 4, instantly generating Clue and Treasure tokens through Council's dilemma. The deck magnifies this token generation using potent flicker engines like Teleportation Circle, Soulherder, and Displacer Kitten, rapidly amassing a critical hoard of noncreature artifacts. Because these tokens dodge traditional creature sweepers, the deck maintains a resilient board state while holding up efficient countermagic and instant-speed exile removal. Once a critical mass of 10–15 artifacts is established, the deck transitions to a lethal finish around Turn 6 by animating tokens into 4/4 flying beaters with Cyberdrive Awakener or Rise and Shine, or draining the table with Marionette Master. Additionally, an untutored infinite mana combo with Deadeye Navigator and Peregrine Drake offers an alternate instant-speed win route.
