Deck overview

This Temur deck is led by Magus Lucea Kane and focuses on casting and duplicating massive X-cost creatures and spells. The early game accelerates mana through efficient land searchers like Three Visits, Nature's Lore, and Nexos, setting up Lucea Kane on Turn 3. Starting on Turn 4, Lucea Kane taps for two colorless mana and duplicates the next X-spell cast each turn. This allows the deck to flood the board with huge Tyranids and Hydras such as Hydroid Krasis, Exocrine, Zoanthrope, and Goldvein Hydra. These duplicated threats provide substantial card draw through the Ravenous mechanic, wipe opposing creatures with damage triggers, and present overwhelming combat power. Supporting pieces like Unbound Flourishing and Branching Evolution scale creature sizes into lethal range, while defensive cards like Heroic Intervention and Tyrant Guard protect against board wipes.
