Mono Green Landfall by Faros

DeckCheck Threat Index: 47

Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity mono-green stompy deck that blends landfall acceleration with explosive +1/+1 counter scaling. Helmed by Bristly Bill, Spine Sower, the deck establishes an early mana advantage using efficient ramp spells and extra-land enablers like Azusa, Lost but Seeking and Lotus Cobra. Each land drop rapidly inflates the board with +1/+1 counters, setting up exponential growth through counter multipliers like Branching Evolution and Bill's activated ability. Massive power fuels card draw engines like Greater Good and Rishkar's Expertise, refilling the hand to maintain momentum. The deck closes games around Turn 5 or 6 by overwhelming opponents with trample damage through Craterhoof Behemoth, Overwhelming Stampede, or a wide army of tokens generated by Scute Swarm and Avenger of Zendikar. While vulnerable to mass exile wipes and lacking stack interaction, its sheer speed and high redundant threat density make it a formidable proactive force.
