Commander: The Great Goblin

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Rakdos Goblin/Orc/Army tribal deck built around the amass mechanic, helmed by The Great Goblin. The commander is the deck's engine: every amass trigger (and there are well over a dozen) becomes 2 damage to an opponent, while his death trigger exiles the top card of the library for repeatable card advantage. The deck wins through a wide, lord-buffed board of Goblins and Army tokens, supplemented by a burn package - Pashalik Mons, Boggart Shenanigans, Blood Artist, and Goblin Bombardment - and closes with burst finishers like Assault on Osgiliath, Gratuitous Violence-boosted combat, or Exsanguinate. It is a midrange aggro/burn deck that grinds incremental damage from every counter placed and every creature that dies, then converts a critical mass of tokens into a lethal swing.
