The New Deal by Gatestone4

Format: Commander

Commander: Oona, Queen of the Fae

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Oona, Queen of the Fae leads a Dimir mill deck whose real engine is a hidden secondary commander, Bruvac the Grandiloquent. With Bruvac, one kicked Maddening Cacophony, Traumatize, or Cut Your Losses empties the libraries that matter; the shorter routes are Bloodchief Ascension plus Mindcrank and Grindstone plus Painter's Servant. Oona mostly provides a flying mana sink and emergency blockers, so she is useful but not required. Jace, Memory Adept converts an already empty library into an immediate draw-step loss. The deck tutors toward one of these lines and defends with eight counterspells, while Ashiok plus Bojuka Bog answer graveyard-shuffle effects.
