Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos spellslinger burn strategy commanded by Kuja, Genome Sorcerer. The game plan revolves around flooding the board with Wizard creatures and tokens that trigger noncombat damage to all opponents whenever noncreature spells are cast. Once four Wizards are assembled, Kuja transforms into Trance Kuja, Fate Defied, which doubles all Wizard damage dealt to players and permanents. The deck leverages efficient red mana rituals such as Jeska's Will and Seething Song alongside graveyard recast engines like Underworld Breach and Past in Flames to storm off with low-cost spells. Redundant burn creatures like Guttersnipe, Black Waltz No. 3, and Harmonic Prodigy ensure that life totals drain rapidly across the entire table even without the commander in play.
