Deck overview

This Azorius deck is an aggressive, high-synergy Equipment Voltron strategy commanded by The Mighty Thor, Jane Foster. It utilizes format-ceiling mana acceleration such as Sol Ring, Mana Vault, and Chrome Mox to deploy its commander ahead of schedule. The deck leverages powerful equip enablers like Sigarda's Aid, Forge Anew, and Puresteel Paladin to cheat attachment costs on legendary armaments, including Excalibur, Sword of Eden and Genji Glove. When Thor attacks, she blinks an Equipment to trigger her own card draw ability while resetting enters-the-battlefield triggers. The game plan establishes a decisive lethal clock on Turn 4, eliminating opponents across consecutive combat steps. A rich suite of free countermagic and phase-out protection—such as Fierce Guardianship, Flawless Maneuver, and Teferi's Protection—shields the board from opposing disruption while the commander closes out the game.
