Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis crime-themed value engine helmed by Marchesa, Dealer of Death. The primary game plan is to use Marchesa's "crime" trigger - targeting opponents, their permanents, or their graveyards - to repeatedly loot the top two cards of the library, filling the hand while fueling the graveyard. The deck is built around a dense core of mana rocks and artifact synergies (Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain, Emry, Lurker of the Loch, Unwinding Clock) that generate explosive mana and card advantage. Win conditions are varied: Laboratory Maniac / Jace, Wielder of Mysteries after self-mill, commander damage from Niv-Mizzet, Parun pings, or grinding opponents out with Sphinx's Tutelage and Court of Locthwain. The deck is a mid-range control pile that can pivot between a combo finish and a pure value grind.
