Deck overview

This deck is a Mardu Equipment Aggro strategy centered on Knight tribal synergies and high-impact artifact armaments. Led by Syr Gwyn, Hero of Ashvale, the deck overcomes high equip costs by granting equip {0} to all Knights while turning every equipped attacker into repeatable card draw. Redundant equipment cheat engines such as Puresteel Paladin, Hammer of Nazahn, and Halvar, God of Battle allow low-curve threats like Mirran Crusader, Adelbert Steiner, and Fervent Champion to become lethal combat threats early. Supported by an arsenal of Swords of the cycle, Embercleave, and Argentum Armor, the deck eliminates opponents through concentrated combat and commander damage. Heavy asymmetric wipes like Ruinous Ultimatum clear blockers, while Teferi's Protection and indestructible equipment safeguard the board against opposing interaction.
