Deck overview

This deck uses Minsc & Boo, Timeless Heroes as both its engine and its main source of pressure. Boo enters on the commander’s entry and on each upkeep, allowing the deck to put counters on it, sacrifice it for cards and direct damage, and receive a replacement token later. Counter enhancers such as Hardened Scales, Branching Evolution, Innkeeper's Talent, and Ozolith, the Shattered Spire make each activation stronger. Creature-based ramp and inexpensive mana artifacts usually support a turn-4 commander, with a strong turn-5 engine. The deck can draw many cards and produce large attackers, then use Fling, Thud, Kazuul's Fury, or Soul's Fire to convert power into damage. Its main weakness is that the finish is not compact: the damage outlets are single-target, combat needs additional turns, and the deck has little tutoring or stack interaction. It is a strong casual-to-high-power synergy deck, not a reliable cEDH list.
