Bear Kindred for Everyone! by djmffnman

Format: Commander

Commander: Kudo, King Among Bears

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Kudo is a GW stax-bear deck that uses the commander's base-2/2 transformation to turn dorks and utility creatures into a whole board of Bears. The primary plan is to land an early one-drop dork, cast Kudo on turn two, and flood the board with cheap creatures; Champion of Lambholt grows faster than Kudo's 2/2 floor, so opponents cannot block. A single Overwhelming Stampede (with Zopandrel or Elesh Norn as backup pumps) converts the wide board into a one-turn kill. Secondary paths include Ayula fight triggers, Gavony Township counters, and Bear-lord beats from Beorn. A heavy stax shell of Drannith, Thalia, Teeg, and Collector Ouphe buys time and protects the goldfish.
