Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Jeskai Equipment and Voltron strategy led by Captain America, First Avenger. The deck bypasses steep equip costs by using Captain America's Catch ability to attach heavy artifacts like Colossus Hammer, Excalibur, Sword of Eden, and Aettir and Priwen for free at the start of combat. Once equipped, Captain America applies lethal combat pressure while using his Throw ability to convert high-mana-value weapons into direct damage removal or player burn. A dense package of Equipment tutors ensures consistency, while free interaction like Deflecting Swat and Fierce Guardianship protects the board. As a backup win condition, the deck features infinite mana and combat lines using Zirda, the Dawnwaker alongside Basalt Monolith or Aggravated Assault, giving it both fast aggressive pressure and combo inevitability.
