Deck overview

This is an Izzet ping-spellslinger list built around Ghyrson Starn, Kelermorph, a three-mana engine with Ward {2} that converts every other exact-1-damage source into a 3-damage event. The deck deploys cheap ping permanents - Electrostatic Field, Coruscation Mage, Unruly Catapult, Vivi Ornitier - then chains one-mana burn and cantrips so those triggers fire across the table. A second, self-contained win lives in the 99: Niv-Mizzet, Parun enchanted with Curiosity or Ophidian Eye draws the library and burns everyone out. Grapeshot and one-sided 1-damage sweepers like End the Festivities turn a stormy turn into a finish. Ghyrson is cheap to recast and is the multiplier the burn plan wants, but the combo and the instant-speed answers still function if he is removed. At 2.25 average mana value the list plays as low-to-the-ground tempo-burn, not big-mana control.
