Deck overview

This Boros deck executes a focused Equipment Voltron and beatdown strategy led by Jor Kadeen, First Goldwarden. The plan revolves around curving out low-cost Equipment, deploying Jor Kadeen on Turn 2, and equipping on Turn 3 to attack as a 4-power trampler that draws cards on every swing. In the midgame, the deck leverages cheat and auto-attach engines like Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist, Bruenor Battlehammer, and Hammer of Nazahn alongside massive stat scalers like Blackblade Reforged and Thran Power Suit to present lethal commander damage by Turn 5. Redundant legendary carriers such as Cloud, Midgar Mercenary, Kellan, the Fae-Blooded, and Eivor, Battle-Ready maintain pressure if the commander is removed. An extensive protection package featuring Dawn's Truce, Boros Charm, and Mithril Coat insulates threats from removal. While vulnerable to mass artifact wipes and lacking stack interaction, the deck delivers fast, resilient combat pressure.
