Shelob Dread Weaver {B} by jfpp

Format: Commander

Commander: Shelob, Dread Weaver

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a mono-black attrition and theft deck helmed by Shelob, Dread Weaver. The plan is simple and mean: force opponent creatures into graveyards with edicts, wipes, and deathtouch combat, exile them with Shelob's trigger, then either convert those exiles into cards and counters or reanimate the best bodies under your control. Parallel engines-Grave Pact, The Meathook Massacre, Massacre Wurm, and classic reanimation (Animate Dead, Victimize, Living Death, Sheoldred, Whispering One)-turn every death into drain, card advantage, or a stolen threat. There are no infinite combos; the deck wins through combat damage, life drain, and overwhelming board swings after mass reanimation. Necropotence, Bolas's Citadel, and Black Market Connections provide the raw card flow to keep the machine fed. Shelob is a powerful value engine and theft outlet, but the 99 already functions as a self-contained aristocrats/reanimator pile.
