Deck overview

This deck is an explosive Izzet spellslinger storm deck commanded by the partner pairing of Krark, the Thumbless and Sakashima of a Thousand Faces. The game plan centers on casting Krark on Turn 2 and copying him on Turn 4 with Sakashima. With multiple Krark triggers on the stack for every instant and sorcery, a 50% probability exists to win at least one flip and lose at least one flip. This copies the spell while returning the physical card to hand. By combining this dual-trigger engine with mana-generating payoffs like Birgi, God of Storytelling, Storm-Kiln Artist, and Tavern Scoundrel, cheap cantrips and rituals become self-sustaining loops. The deck quickly accumulates massive storm counts and card velocity, culminating in a same-turn table elimination through Grapeshot, continuous burn from Guttersnipe or Fiery Inscription, or repeated direct-damage spells.
