Deck overview

This deck is a high-power mono-black aristocrats combo list led by Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER. The primary strategy converts sacrifice fodder into card advantage and asymmetric attrition, culminating in an infinite life-drain loop. The core win condition pairs Warren Soultrader with Gravecrawler and a drain engine. Because Warren Soultrader is a Zombie, it allows Gravecrawler to cast itself from the graveyard for one black mana generated by Soultrader's Treasure ability. Each iteration drains opponents and gains back the paid life through Sephiroth's trigger or independent pieces like Bastion of Remembrance and Marionette Apprentice. The deck backs up this combo with severe board attrition using Grave Pact, targeted removal, and board wipes like Toxic Deluge. Robust reanimation allows the deck to recover its engine pieces immediately if disrupted.
