Kiora, Sovereignof the Proxy by user2811906

Format: Commander

Commander: Kiora, Sovereign of the Deep

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Kiora, Sovereign of the Deep leads a Simic sea-monster battlecruiser that ramps to 5 mana, then chains Kraken, Leviathan, Octopus and Serpent spells into free casts. The primary plan is to cast a 7-9 mana threat like Breaching Leviathan or Slinn Voda to trigger Kiora, look at X cards and cast another spell for free, quickly building an unblockable board with Serpent of Yawning Depths and Spawning Kraken tokens. Secondary paths use mass bounce (Whelming Wave, Scourge of Fleets, Cyclonic Rift) to clear blockers and Overwhelming Stampede or Koma coils to finish. Kiora provides card advantage and ward 3 protection; Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait acts as a hidden commander for land drops and draw when Kiora is unavailable.
