This mono-blue control deck leverages Baral, Chief of Compliance to discount instants and sorceries while looting through the library. Its core engine features twenty copies of Sphinx's Approach, providing reliable card velocity and an alternative tutor mechanism that puts massive Sphinx creatures directly onto the battlefield once five copies enter the graveyard. The deck can also deploy Thrumming Stone to ripple through multiple copies of Approach in a single turn, generating massive card advantage and rapidly searching out threats like Consecrated Sphinx, Sphinx of the Second Sun, and Sphinx of the Final Word.
