C06 - Super-powered Monsters And Sharpshooting Heroes by LeeDicious

Format: Commander

Commander: Bruce Banner // The Incredible Hulk

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Temur Hero/Gamma tribal deck built around the two faces of Bruce Banner // The Incredible Hulk. The front face, Bruce Banner, is a repeatable draw engine: for {X}{X}, {T} he converts spare mana into card advantage, which is exactly what a deck with no tutors needs to find its payoffs. The back face, The Incredible Hulk, is the real finisher - an 8/8 with reach and trample whose enrage trigger untaps him and grants an additional combat if he is attacking. The plan is to cast Banner early, draw into pump/equipment and combat tricks, transform on six mana, then win through commander damage: Mjolnir, Hammer of Thor doubles his damage, Team Tactics grants double strike, and Wisecrack self-damages him mid-combat to trigger enrage for a same-turn extra combat. Secondary damage comes from Thor, God of Thunder, Warstorm Surge, Hawkeye, Trick Shot, and Origin of Thor, with Time Warp as supplemental acceleration.
