Deck overview

X is a hand-placed theft engine: park it in an opponent's hand, then activate it to cast their spells for free while their hand stays revealed. The real win condition is a hidden Johnny/ABC combo: resolve Johnny, Combo Player, tutor Richard Garfield, Ph.D. and Now I Know My ABC's, then use Richard to turn two spare two-mana cards into Quirion Dryad and Zephyr Charge so the controlled permanents cover all twenty-six letters. Secondary paths are value theft through Shared Fate and Spy Eye, hand attack, and permission/bounce to protect the assembly. X supplements the plan and provides the X letter, but Johnny and Richard are the engine.
