Deck overview

This Boros deck pairs Ganax, Astral Hunter with Noble Heritage to create a fast, Treasure-fueled Dragon beatdown strategy supplemented by political protection and goad control. The early game focuses on deploying efficient ramp and cost reducers like Dragonlord's Servant, Dragonspeaker Shaman, and Urza's Incubator before casting Ganax. Once on the board, Noble Heritage rapidly scales Ganax into a massive flying commander while offering political shielding. The deck leverages Treasure generation to chain large flying threats such as Twinflame Tyrant, Drakuseth, Maw of Flames, and Scourge of the Throne, using mass goad spells like Disrupt Decorum and Taunt from the Rampart to force opponents into damaging each other while clearing blocking lanes. An infinite token synergy exists between Ganax and Draconic Visitor. The deck excels at applying aerial pressure and turning opponents' aggression against them, but requires careful resource management due to light reactive interaction and vulnerability to creature sweepers.
