Commander: Minsc & Boo, Timeless Heroes

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Gruul +1/+1 counters and sacrifice deck built around Minsc & Boo, Timeless Heroes. The commander creates Boo, a 1/1 trample/haste Hamster token, pumps it with +1/+1 counters, then sacrifices it via the -2 loyalty ability to deal massive damage and draw a huge number of cards. Counter doublers - Doubling Season, Branching Evolution, Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider, Hardened Scales - multiply Boo's growth, while All Will Be One and City on Fire convert counters and damage into lethal reach. Secondary paths include flinging a Colossification- or Belt of Giant Strength-boosted creature through Fling or Kazuul's Fury, and beatdown from big trampling threats like Xenagos, God of Revels, Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus, Etali, Primal Conqueror, and Klauth, Unrivaled Ancient. The deck is a midrange value engine that chains commander activations to draw into its kill.
