Yue by minthric

Format: Commander

Commander: Yue, the Moon Spirit

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This mono-blue deck, helmed by Yue, the Moon Spirit, is a value-oriented control and theft strategy that leverages a dense package of clone effects, bounce spells, and free-cast enablers. The primary game plan involves deploying Yue to cheat out expensive noncreature spells like Mirrorform or Season of Weaving while using a swarm of shapeshifters to copy the best creatures on the battlefield-whether your own or opponents'. The deck lacks a dedicated infinite combo or fast clock, instead aiming to outvalue the table through repeated theft, card draw, and tempo plays. Win conditions are incremental: accumulating a board of copied threats, locking opponents out with Platinum Angel, or overwhelming with Sphinx of the Second Sun's extra turns. The commander is a flexible engine but not essential; the 99 can function independently.
