Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Temur Dragon tribal strategy commanded by Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm. It focuses on accelerating mana during the first two turns to cast Miirym ahead of curve on Turn 4. Once assembled, the deck deploys high-cost Elder Dragons on Turn 5, triggering Miirym's ability to create non-legendary token copies. Multipliers like Dragon Tempest, Terror of the Peaks, and Scourge of Valkas translate creature entries into immediate direct damage, while Atarka, World Render and Utvara Hellkite build massive combat pressure to close games on Turn 6. A robust protection suite with Fierce Guardianship, Deflecting Swat, and Heroic Intervention shields critical development against removal. Even if Miirym is removed, the density of standalone Dragon threats ensures powerful backup lines with minimal tempo loss.
