Deck overview

This is a Golgari deathtouch midrange deck helmed by The Serpent Society. The plan floods the board with deathtouch creatures, leverages Fynn, the Fangbearer and toxic bodies for a poison clock, and turns every death into value via the commander's edict trigger plus drains from Poison-Tip Archer, Hooded Blightfang, and Cauldron of Essence. Secondary angles include half-life combat finishers (Virtus the Veiled, Unstoppable Slasher, Radioactive Man), Tergrid, God of Fright theft off forced sacrifices, and steady attrition. The commander is a solid 3-mana deathtouch body with a unique ward and a powerful death trigger, but the 99 already contains enough deathtouch, poison, and recursion to function without it. Wins come through combat poison and life-total pressure rather than infinite combos.
