Locust god (draw) by user3668959

Format: Commander

Commander: The Locust God

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

The Locust God is the center of the deck: every card is a wheel, every insect a weapon, and the deck is built to turn a single draw into a massive haste swarm. The primary plan is to set up The Locust God with Mister Fantastic, so each insect token made by the God draws another card, creating a self-sustaining one-turn token army. Purphoros, Agate Instigator, and Throne of the God-Pharaoh turn that army directly into lethal damage, while Laboratory Maniac is a real empty-library backup. The God's own activated ability can initiate the chain even when no draw spell is in hand. Interaction is mostly a free counter to protect this engine; Brudiclad and Rionya keep the deck viable if the commander is temporarily unavailable.
