Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive synergy build focused on Obeka, Splitter of Seconds. Obeka converts combat damage dealt to players into additional upkeep steps in your post-combat main phase. The deck leverages this unique mechanic by stacking powerful upkeep-triggered permanents. Cards like Court of Ire, Court of Embereth, and Dragonmaster Outcast trigger multiple times in a single turn, generating massive card advantage, giant creature tokens, and direct damage bursts. To ensure Obeka connects reliably, the list includes a dense suite of unblockable equipment, such as Whispersilk Cloak and Psychic Paper, alongside power buffs like Fireshrieker that double combat damage and subsequent upkeeps. Protection spells and efficient countermagic defend Obeka during combat, allowing the engine to snowball rapidly into a Turn 7 table elimination.
