Deck overview

This deck combines Dimir spellslinger mechanics with Lord of the Nazgûl Wraith tribal synergy. The game plan focuses on developing mana rocks and cantrips early, casting Lord of the Nazgûl on Turn 4 or 5, and rapidly generating a swarm of 3/3 black Wraith tokens with menace whenever an instant or sorcery is cast. The list takes full advantage of the rule allowing nine copies of Nazgûl, which steadily grow the entire Wraith army through repeated Ring-tempt triggers. An elite counterspell and removal suite protects the commander while disrupting opposing engines. Once critical mass is reached, asymmetric bounce spells like Raise the Palisade or Cyclonic Rift clear opposing boards, allowing the menacing Wraiths or full 9/9 overruns to eliminate the table in two combat rounds.
