Deck overview

This is a Sultai Elf tribal deck led by Thranduil, the Elvenking. Its early game uses mana Elves, land ramp, and tribal creatures to build a wide board. Once Thranduil, the Elvenking is active, each additional legendary Elf produces a net card, helping the deck find more creatures, lands, and finishers. The main pressure plan is to assemble Lathril, Blade of the Elves with ten untapped Elves. Its activated ability drains each opponent for 10 life, and four activations finish a table starting at 40 life. The plan normally becomes threatening around turn 8 and finishes around turn 11 if uninterrupted. Coat of Arms, Elvish Archdruid, Ezuri, Renegade Leader, Shaman of the Pack, and Valley Rotcaller provide alternate ways to convert the creature board into damage or life loss. The deck has meaningful protection and selection, but many tapped lands, expensive payoffs, and creature dependence make it vulnerable to sweepers and prolonged disruption.
