Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Naya aggro and burn list commanded by Shalai and Hallar. The core strategy converts +1/+1 counter placement directly into non-combat damage against opponents while building massive, evasive battlefield threats. Mana acceleration on turns 1 and 2 establishes early board presence, allowing Shalai and Hallar to enter on turn 4 alongside counter-amplifying permanents like Hardened Scales, Bristly Bill, Spine Sower, or Branching Evolution. On turn 5, exponential threats such as Kalonian Hydra or All Will Be One create a critical onset, burning life totals and forcing immediate answers. A robust protection package featuring Deflecting Swat, Heroic Intervention, and Teferi's Protection shields key pieces from opposing removal. Even if the commander is removed, the deck easily transitions into a traditional stompy win condition using trample, flying, and unblockable modifiers to close the game by turn 6.
